How we use it, and our legal basis

Under UK GDPR, we rely on the following lawful bases:

  • Consent, when you submit our contact form or accept cookies

  • Contract, where processing is necessary to provide the services you've asked for, including sharing relevant details (such as your address and any access instructions) with the cleaner assigned to your clean

We use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to analyse website traffic and usage. Google Analytics collects information such as pages visited, time spent on pages, general location data (region/city level), and device and browser information, to help us improve our website and services. • Ensure proper website functionality

  • Analyse visitor behaviour

  • Improve user experience

Where required, we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies (such as analytics cookies) on your device. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep client and enquiry information for as long as you remain a client, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our accounting and legal obligations (typically up to 6 years for financial records). Enquiries that don't turn into bookings are kept for a shorter period, typically up to 12 months, then deleted.

  • The cleaner(s) assigned to carry out your clean

  • Our website hosting provider (Wix)

  • Analytics providers (Google Analytics) and our Google Reviews widget provider

  • Our accountant and payroll provider, where needed to manage invoicing and business records

  • IT and technical service providers

  • Legal or regulatory authorities where required

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some of our service providers (including Wix and Google Analytics) may process data outside the UK. Where data is transferred internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with UK GDPR (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions).

If you're a job applicant or employee

What we collect

  • Contact and identity details: name, address, date of birth, phone number, email address, emergency contact details

  • Right-to-work, National Insurance number, and bank details for payroll purposes

  • References and, where relevant to the role, DBS check results

  • Records relating to your employment, including hours worked, holiday, sickness and other absence, and any performance, disciplinary or grievance records

  • Health information where relevant to sickness absence, statutory leave, or reasonable adjustments

  • Photos taken during work for marketing purposes, only where a client has consented and where this doesn't identify a client who has asked not to be photographed

How we use it, and our legal basis

  • To enter into and manage your contract of employment (performance of a contract)

  • To meet our legal obligations, for example around tax, National Insurance, pension auto-enrolment, and right-to-work checks (legal obligation)

  • To manage sickness absence, holiday, performance and conduct fairly (our legitimate interest in running the business, and legal obligation where relevant, for example under the Equality Act 2010)

  • Health-related data is processed under the specific conditions that apply to special category data, generally where necessary for employment law purposes, or with your explicit consent

How long we keep it

We generally keep employment records for the duration of your employment and for a set period afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations (typically up to 6 years, though some records, such as those relating to statutory pay, may need to be kept longer). Unsuccessful job applications are kept for a shorter period, typically up to 6 months, then deleted.

  • HMRC and The Pensions Regulator/our pension provider, as legally required

  • A DBS check provider, where a check is carried out

  • We do not share your employment information with anyone else without your knowledge, except where the law requires it.
