Thanks so much for your interest in joining the team! We're a friendly, growing cleaning company covering York, Hull, Howden, Goole, Market Weighton, Pocklington and Beverley, and we're always on the lookout for reliable, hardworking cleaners. Here's everything you need to know about the role and how to apply.

What we offer

£14 per hour
School-friendly daytime hours (typically 9:30am to 2:30pm), with no evenings and no weekends
Regular weekly and fortnightly clients, on set days and times
Guaranteed hours: although the role is self-employed, we put measures in place so your hours stay secure
Year-round, consistent work that carries on through the school holidays
Full support from our friendly management team

Work close to home

You'll only ever work in the area closest to you, with jobs planned close together to keep your travel and fuel costs down.

The role

High-standard domestic cleaning in private homes, including kitchens and bathrooms, dusting and polishing, and vacuuming and mopping, leaving each home sparkling. Cleaning products and equipment are provided in each home, so you simply turn up and do what you do best. Once your days and hours are agreed, they stay the same each week. Our clients value seeing the same trusted face, so we ask you to commit to your set schedule consistently.

Who we're looking for

Reliable, friendly and punctual, with a keen eye for detail
A confident driver with a full UK licence and your own car (essential, as you travel between local homes)
Able to commit to the same agreed days and hours every week
Happy to work on a self-employed basis (we'll guide you, and it's simpler than most people expect)
Experience is a lovely bonus but not essential; the right attitude matters most
References and a DBS check will be requested

How to apply

Email us at hello@thesegirlsclean.co.uk with your CV, the days and hours you're available, and confirmation that you have a full UK driving licence and your own car and are happy to work on a self-employed basis. We'll be in touch to arrange a friendly chat and talk you through the next steps. We can't wait to hear from you!
